A maximum of eight children can come and make things in clay with Claire in Constantine.  These sessions will change throughout the year, alternating between weekday after school and a Saturday  morning.  Holiday sessions will be run as a ‘one off’ two hour project, term time classes are just over an hour, in blocks of five weeks to enable the children to work on something over a longer period of time.

Work may be completed in one session or worked on over a few weeks.  Slab building, coiling and pinch pots usually starting off a project.  Terracotta clay and coloured slips are used before work is finished with a transparent glaze.  Ideas generated by the children will determine what is made.
